BWYW Snippet Commissions

Hello everyone,

While I’m often not open for full-length story commissions, I do a little something called Bid What You Will commissions for short story snippets. As it’s worked reasonably well, I’ve continued to keep the rolling queue open.

Wait, what’s BWYW?

I call it Bid What You Will, kind of a different take on Pay What You Will. Basically, you’re putting in a bid for what you’ll pay for a snippet to be higher on the production queue of these short written works. The highest bid always goes to the front of the line and so on down. This will work in a blind email fashion rather than messages here or a forum bid. And bidding higher means I’m also likely to include extra details and word count into your snippet as appropriate.

This seems a little weird.

Yes it does. It’s an experiment for a different way of doing short written commissions, and so far it’s worked reasonably well.

Okay, I’m interested. How do I start?

Well, this is a send-no-money-now kind of deal. The first step is sending me an email to mcdmwolf@hotmail.com. Include these following things:

1)       The subject heading: “BWYW: [Your Name]” (This can be whatever name I know you by or I should put you under for the queue)

2)       Your contact info

3)       How much you’re willing to pay in USD for a snippet (only whole numbers please)

4)       The necessary things for the snippet (including the things it absolutely must have, the picture if it’s based on one, a particular tone if you prefer one, anything that gets you what you want)

Once I have that, you’re in the queue, consider it a contract more or less. You’re free to email in a day or so and ask where you are in the queue, and make adjustments as you’d like, including revising your bid if you’re low on the queue.

What forms of payment are accepted?

There are 2 forms of payment that are currently readily accepted. Just let me know when bidding which type of payment you wish to do:

1)    PayPal – This is the preferred method of simple cash. You just send the bid amount once the snippet is completed to mcdmwolf@hotmail.com

2)    Amazon Gift Card – If you’re uncomfortable with PayPal for whatever reason, you can send me an Amazon Gift Card code for the appropriate amount. Just get the code and email it to me directly once it’s time to pay.

What if I get the snippet and it’s not exactly what I really wanted?

Well, that all depends. I do tend to go by the “satisfaction guaranteed” motto, and you can ask other people that have commissioned me about that for honest answers, so I’m likely to give one free edit pass to fix issues. However, these are essentially the equivalent of sketches, and you get what you pay for. If you bid a very low amount for me to write a custom 1,000-2,000 words and I do it, I’m less likely to make edits.

I’ve noticed most of your stories are soft oral vore. Will you do other things?

In these, I’ll do just about anything. UB, AV, absorption, other kinks that aren’t vore, post-vore play scenes of some kind, I’ll give it all a try based on what you want. If it’s really outside my scope for some reason, I’ll tell you early on.

I’d rather just have you write a full-length commission. Can’t you open up for those?

Sorry, right now I have too many full stories in mind of my own inspiration to do those. The reason I’m doing these snippets, though, is they’re something I can insert and get done quickly in times that I get mild writer’s block working on larger works. Full-length commissions take a lot more time and effort per word count just by their nature than a quick scene.

I’d like to barter a sketch for a snippet instead of cash or suggest a collaborative project. You game?

Email me and I’ll consider it depending on all factors. Right now I am more interested in cash, but I will keep an open mind. Even if not this very instant, for a little down the road.

So, that’s pretty much it. If you took the time to read all that and want me to write a short little something in whatever vein, send me an email with your bid to mcdmwolf@hotmail.com Any general questions can be directed there or a reply here.

Thanks for taking a look!
