For your consideration, the only soft vore scene from Hydra, wherein the titular monster (reduced to only one head by prior events) takes its time swallowing a guy.

So it's capable of swallowing whole when it has one head, but it has to pointlessly tear people apart (without actually eating them) when it's got multiple heads... Why?

Don't answer that.

*smiles* Thanks, K.D.

Wonderful capture. I have the scene saved but not ripped yet myself as well, but I don't have Sci-Fi HD, so the quality isn't close to yours (it was also from before everyone switched to digital transmission, so there's a lot of graininess to mine :( ).

As for tearing people apart, I'll give my answer, even if you don't want it. :p

Writers and directors in Hollywood, believe that gore and blood are what people are interested in (just look at all the bad slasher and zombie movies out there). I can only assume that they feel there's a stronger reaction from the audience when seeing someone torn apart, than swallowed whole. All that blood splattering about 'looks cool' to the camera, ignoring the 'psychological' horror of being swallowed alive.

I always thought it was because the heads would argue over who eats what. Theres no arguments when theres one head.
