Forgive me if I ramble.
Just thought I'd point your attention to the movie ‘Habitat’, if you hadn't already heard of it. Anyway, it’s a sci-fi thriller about the o-zone layer dying, and a scientist is working to create a new breed of life that can survive this. But in the classic twist, he accidentally gets the chemical on him, and is turned into a cloud of ‘stuff’ that starts to transform his house into a living thing. Near the end of the film, people come in the house and try to destroy it, but all are killed by the plant-house; some absorbed into the floor, one drowning in what looks like a pitcher-trap plant, and one eaten by worms living in the house. One part in particular I found VERY interesting; One poor sap is attacked by the scientist-turned-into-a-cloud-of-stuff which strips him of his protective gear. Naked, he tries to escape the house but slips into a hole in the floor and is sucked down, obviously to his death. They show it from the inside as he slides down, and I have to say, I know it should be technically labeled as Plant Vore, but it’s still pretty awesome! They show it being all slippery, wet, tight… Just like a gullet!
Just thought I'd through that out there.
